Shopping High –End Designers for the Holidays

When people mention Saks Fifth Avenue, Bloomingdales, Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom most people would think of high end designers that only these department stores will sell at a retail price. Over the past year and with the advantages of online shopping, these retailers opened an outlet version for online shopping. Sometimes with a little bit of luck and patience you can score a great pair of shoes or a handbag.

My personal favorite is Saksoff5th.com because of their high end designers that include: Gucci, Saint Laurent, Burberry and others. In the past I have gotten a Burberry Quilted Coat for a fraction of the retail price. Currently, Livingsocial has a promotion that you can buy a gift card of a $50 value for $35. This is perfect since you can save even more by buying the gift cards and then using them to purchase the item of your choice.

This item is on top of my list:

52mm Wayfarer Sunglasses
$149.99 (use Gobble to get an extra 40% off)

Extreme Couponing 101 in NYC

Ever watched that show on TLC, Extreme Couponing? Do you wonder how they do it?

Most extreme couponers spend countless hours clipping and researching for the next big sale. Well this past weekend, I put these two websites (thekrazycouponlady.com and freestufffinder.com) to the test and I have to say the results are impressive, even for our area of NYC. My purchase from Rite Aid was 4 Axes Shampoo for men, 2 Electric Oral-B toothbrushes, 6 regular toothbrushes and 1 Max-Freeze for $17.

Both of these websites are perfect for beginners and it tells you where to find the coupons and how to match it with other coupons for extra savings.

See below for one of the current sale for Scrubbing Bubbles:

Will you try this?

See below, but the picture does not do justice.

This sale is only available in stores only.

Would you be going to H&M soon?
