I received my Burberry Mottram trench last Thursday and I can honestly say that I am very excited to wear it next fall. Investing in a Burberry Trench has been a decision that was not taken lightly due to its cost. However, Saks had a Designer Sale Event that included the Mottram and Marystow I couldn’t resist but to grab one. The Marystow design (in Trench color) was poor compare to the Mottram, it had light brown bottoms and the color and texture weren’t the same. The Mottram has all the feature that I was looking for, such as the black buttons in which it gives the appearance of the classic Gabardine.
This trench is a beautiful piece of clothing that will last me for many seasons. The material and cut is perfect for someone who is petite (I am 5’3) and is looking for a mid-thigh trench. The length of the arms is a bit too long but I will take it to the alteration department at a Burberry Flagship Store to have it alter. The Mottram Trench is made in Italy and it used to be part of the London line but last season it transition to the Brit line.
The Burberry Mottram Trench is still on sale at Saks here.
If you are on a budget I would recommend these below.
