DO YOUR RESEARCH!

Travel Tips

Travel season is underway and many people are looking for ways to make sure that their vacation experience is everything they dreamed of and more! When I go on vacation, I get a little crazy : ) I like to make sure that I have the best options for my money. I am a room snob so I like to make sure that the hotel that I am staying at is up to par (no bed bugs please). I like to use Tripadvisor for my hotel reviews as I am searching through Expedia or Cheapair for a package deal. Those websites usually put up pictures that the hotel has provided. Tripadvisor shows actual traveler photos and gives actual reviews. If it’s a really good hotel, the manager will usually respond to the reviews online.
Sometimes it is better to check if the hotel and flight are cheaper if booked separately. That is when I use Kayak – it pretty much narrows down the cheapest flights. If you want to get even more crazier – try looking at SeatGuru. If you know the type of airplane that you will be on, this website shows you where to pick your seat based on the airplane (carrier, type, size).
Personally with my experience traveling, I like to travel with either Virgin America (when I fly to the West Coast) and Jet Blue (when I fly to Caribbean or Florida). I find that the experience is amazing. Jet Blue has amazing spacing between the seats, providing comfortability, and Virgin America is up to date with their technologically advanced system. You can listen to music, watch movies, play games and even instant message a friend in a different seat!

When I am set on a hotel and flight, I usually move on to things to do and excursions. I like to look at Viator for all my excursion needs! The site offers excursions all over the world and I have never been disappointed using this site. I’ve used this site for underwater scuba diving, ATV riding in the desert and even for a helicopter ride over the Las Vegas Strip at night!

So before you plan a trip, do your research!!
